Summer Intensive Workshop

and Young Dancer Camps!

Charleston Ballet Theatre Center for Dance Education,

originally the Charleston Ballet School,

was founded in 1968, is the oldest

continually operating classical ballet school in Charleston.

CBTCDE has earned a reputation of providing

a challenging and unequaled caliber

of training and has hosted its Summer Intensive each year since 1987.

The professional program, which includes optional housing, is designed

for serious dance students to refine their technique

in a nurturing atmosphere.

Summer Intensive Workshop July 7-August 3

Intermediate and Advanced Dancers age 12-21

are invited to audition in person

on Saturday March 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Mt. Pleasant studios.

Audition fee is $20, cash only. Please bring resume and photo.

Those who cannot attend may submit a brief non-returnable,

10 minute DVD of selections from barre & center.

Performance video is not accepted.

Send DVD, teacher recommendation letter, dance photo and $25 fee

Junior Intensive Workshop July 9-25,

ages 9-11 with 3 years of training

Tuesday-Thursday 9:30-1:30. Ballet, Beginner Pointe,

Jazz and Contemporary.

No audition necessary.

Young Dancer Program June 11-27

ages 6-8, Tuesday-Thursday 9:30-11:30,

Children bring famous ballets to life with class, music, creativity. $90/week
