WIZARD OF OZ   -   CHOREOGRAPHY JILL EATHORNE BAHR

SATURDAY MARCH 23, 2013 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM
SUNDAY MARCH 24, 2013 2:00 PM
SOTTILE THEATRE AT THE COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON

Take the family on this delightful "yellow brick road" trip. America’s fairytale classic comes to life through the eyes of Jill Eathorne Bahr  as she spins the tale of Dorothy and her newfound friends - the Cowardly Lion, The Tin Man, and the Scarecrow. Bahr uses as her inspiration the children's book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" written by L. Frank Baum.

Over the last seven decades, the film The Wizard of Oz has indelibly woven itself into America's cultural consciousness. Is there anyone who doesn't immediately think of the film upon hearing the words, "Dorothy," "Toto," "Emerald City," "Ruby Slippers" and "Yellow Brick Road" -- or the lines to the song "Over the Rainbow?" Now a whole new intrepretation, complete with new music, pops unto the CBT 2012-2013 Peformance Scene.
