A Centre of Strength, Knowledge & Future Opportunities!
Dance delivers physical benefits to our children. To impart excellent coordination, flexibility, increased self-discipline, poise and confidence – their taste for art should be developed early.
They should balance the love for the beautiful and impractical – with the useful and the practical. One should give them fairytales, music, dance and theater. This is real magic for children, and it is strong enough for them to overcome many dangers that threaten them because their minds are unoccupied and their imaginations unfed.
Developing these qualities in our children is the first step to promoting peace in the world by giving them true standards of what is important in human life.
“Whether classical ballet, contemporary ballet, modern dance, jazz or musical theatre, our Dance School provides the serious dancer with every skill needed to dance in any company they choose. Providing each student with superior training, both technical and artistic, Charleston Ballet Theatre concentrates on training dancers for the 21st century. And with a philosophy that is always growing to meet the demands of the art form. Discipline, self-control, respect, self-evaluation and critical thinking are only a few of the many life skills that dance training develops. We train not only the body, but the psyche and soul! Our dancers become people who are not only beautiful and dynamic but a delight to know. Please join us for this golden opportunity!”
